But it sounds like you're just protecting yourself. Like you know exactly what "intensely complicated" stuff happened to make Euphy want to hurt people. But you're not telling her.

Why not? Are you saying you know what's in her future, and you're not gonna try to stop it?

You think that I believe her to be weak? It's the opposite, actually. Out of all of my brothers and sisters, she is the only one I don't have a chance against. Euphy is a strong, capable woman. Gentle and kind.

That doesn't mean I want to burden her before she is ready and, believe it or not, I did give her the opportunity. What I think is that she is already distraught by how I came to be here and doesn't want to inquire further.

So what if I do know? It doesn't change that it happened. It can't be stopped, though if there is one thing I wish I could have prevented, that would have been it.

If you know what happens, why can't you just tell her?
Then when we get out of here and she goes back to her time in your dimension, she can fix things.

Though you telling her anything at all would be confusing. It's not as if you know what's going on, now do you? You saw something that's far more complex than a conversation or two can really explain.

I've seen some weird stuff.

It's how the ability rewires the brain. Some times direct contact is required and other times not so much.

I met a man that could read minds. However I don't know if he started out this way or needed direct contact at first before his power grew to the point he couldn't turn it off.

So he could mind control people AND read minds just by touching someone?
That sounds like magic to me.
