draft: yellow paladin custom job




YELLOW PALADIN
The Yellow Paladin is impossible to ignore. Heavy artillery and tactical support at range, with a shield and devastating raw power up close allows them to protect and support their team at all times.
favored weapon: Heavy Guns
favored armor: Heavy Armor
strengths: Yellow Paladins are difficult to take down- they're physically powerful, have versatile range and can distract foes. If one can Call the Yellow Lion... good luck.
weaknesses: A Yellow Paladin is unable to heal themselves, they're slow, and any foe that can exploit their protective nature can easily gain the upper hand.

EXPSKILLDESCRIPTION
0000ProvokeThough not used for damage, a hail of gunfire prevents the enemy from targeting anyone but the user. Boosts defense by 5% with Engineer an Opening, upgraded to 10% at Three-Course Meal. Can only Provoke one target at a time.
0050Suppressing FireRanged combo deals medium physical damage to one foe.
0100Engineer an OpeningPassive skill. Any foe targeting the Paladin takes an extra 3% more damage from the Paladin's allies. Upgrades to 7% with Three-Course Meal.
0200Thruster ChargeThe user's magitek creates a living battering ram, dealing medium physical damage with a chance to Knockdown the foe. (30%) Shield optional but never a bad idea.
0350InterceptOnce per battle, the Yellow Paladin can break turn order, sacrificing their own turn to shield an ally from a single-target attack. With a shield, probably.
0500Spray n' PrayUnleash a barrage of gunfire on all targets, potentially redirecting their attention to the user for a turn. (25%) Does not grant bonuses like Provoke.
0750 Three-Course MealOnce per battle, fire two turrets from your gun at targeted locations. They concentrate fire on a target of your choosing for three turns, cannot change targets, and can be destroyed with a weak attack. One turret deals low damage, two deals medium damage. Targeting a turret counts as targeting the Yellow Paladin for Engineer an Opening.
1000 Shoulder CannonThe gun is enveloped in golden light and rematerializes as Voltron's shoulder-mounted cannon before firing a beam of golden energy, dealing powerful Holy or Earth damage to all foes.
EXPMODIFIER SKILLDESCRIPTION
0500AntagonizePrevent the target from attacking anyone but the user for two turns, boosting Defense by 5%.
EXPJOB BONUSDESCRIPTION
